Page Purpose
This is the navigation page where members get to access curated lists of all of the courses needed to plan towards a career.
A. Access a list of the basic courses through either the Preparation Path Study Guide, or
B. Access more detailed lists of courses by visiting one of three categories.
Complete Courses
The Short Courses are thousands of bits of information about each career and species you will work with, put together in powerful chunks to make learning fun and increase your knowledge and memory. This is how you prepare for your dream career!

2. OZT helps you on this path through non-accredited courses of our own to help with the basic knowledge.
There are three categories of short courses that help link to the above path:
- A basic introduction to the career, Environment and tools used
- Life and career skills required
- Link to the animal group(s) and specific courses on the species you will work with, plus a list of organisations that already work with them!
All of the short courses, whether on careers or specialties, are divided into levels, ranging in length and difficulty:
- Beginner: from 5 to 10 Minutes
- Intermediate: from 10 to 15 Minutes
- Advanced: from 15 to 20 Minutes
- Expert: 20 Minutes and more
All the courses award 100 points as a reward for completion of the course.
There are also special Quests to complete, with maximum points and top-level Badges to earn you some serious bragging rights!
