This love for animals has strengthened the animal welfare sector, together with the realization that certain species are close to, if not already extinct. There are currently close to 30,000 species close to extinction!

The increase in illegal animal trade has necessitated the protection of wild animals, and therefore all of the careers association with their protection. Careers in this industry is growing fast, with some averaging over 20% per year!
